Annual cost for U13G team?

Hi, can you share what your DC, MD, or VA-based soccer club charges for fall/winter/spring seasons combined at the U13G level? We’re trying to determine if our daughter’s club is more or less costly than other local clubs. Thanks!

All in, with a uniform (~$300) you're probably between $2900-3300 depending on the level? If it is an ECNL team probably more. If you're looking around, see if tournaments are included in that or not. A club fee that does not include them or list them beside that fee may lead to a nasty surprise. Your costs to get to the tournament is your responsibility as well and that is true everywhere I think.

Yes but everyone lists it differently, looking at all-in prices vice broken down fees makes it hard to compare apples to apples.

Some clubs have messy websites, some of them bury the fees page, and you would need to have some prior knowledge of area clubs to know which ones to look up in the first place.

You could also consider not being a dick, that might be more helpful to OP.

People are so damn quick to come here to post and ask questions and have someone else do the research for them.

Here's something someone posted in an ecnl thread.
ECNL fees (VA teams) for 2024-25:

FXU $3200 (club fee) + $500 (team fee)

NVA $3,000 (club feee) + unknown (team fee)

VDA $3,200 (club fee) + $125 (field fee) + $720 (team fee)

Arlington ? (will post mid-April, but 2023-24 was $3,000 (club fee) + $800+ (team fee))

My kids mid level edp is 2300 plus 200ish for uniforms. Includes three tournaments and training year round [including through the winter.] I've been surprised that not all clubs keep up their 2-3 nights a week in winter

Maryland united is 2950 plus uniforms for non ecnl/ecnl r and 3200 and up for ecnl

OP you need to provide more info to know if your club is charging more than others. Cost of anything is not the same across the DMV. Which state and county are you in will change the cost significantly. Which league? The amount of trainings per week/year, coaching levels, # of tournaments, quality of fields, is video included. Not to mention travel and uniform costs which can vary a lot. Clubs generally cost similar amounts when compared with other similar clubs. And soccer clubs are mostly break even businesses

Mid sized club LMVSC $2400 + $180 for uniforms. Fee includes year round training and 2 tournaments.

It’s perplexing that my inquiry generated such a hostile response from others. But given some insanely intense parent sidelines behavior we’ve witnessed at times at our daughter’s mid-level EDP games, I shouldn’t be surprised.

It sounds like in general, ECNL for girls this age is about $4K and lower levels about $3000?

There’s EDP teams in the 2k range when you get away from the biggest name clubs.
