Recommend pastries I can buy Wed. and serve Thurs.?

I need to have something to serve a few people for a late morning meeting with coffee at my home on Thursday. No time or talent for baking, with other commitments Wed., and no time to go out and buy something that morning. I could do bagels, which would keep, but I'd rather do something more like turnovers or croissants or similar. Is there anything good that comes frozen to bake at home from Wegman's? A sane schedule would be to Instacart something tomorrow and have it warm from the oven when guests come Thursday morning. Thanks!

I’d be fine with day old pastries and would likely never know if you hadn’t told me. Just grab some nice ones from a bakery and make sure they’re stored properly, I’d imagine in a sealed container, but you can google that to see what is recommended.

Trader Joe’s frozen croissants! You have to leave them out the night before you bake them, so the timing is just right for you. Plus, they are actually very very good!

I would do quickbreads like muffins or banana bread and just keep them in an airtight container overnight.

OP here reporting back: when I posted this, I'd somehow forgotten that coffee cake has self-preservative qualities. I got a Wegman's Cinnamon Swirl coffee cake and it was a big hit, and I'm still eating the last of it 5 days after buying it. Highly recommended.

And thanks for the recs, everybody. Was definitely thinking sweet something rather than bagels, but of course in other circumstances bagels would be fine.
