Any communication from teachers for AAP MiS?

What communication if any do middle school teachers send? Elementary has weekly newsletters, and can check grade book for missing work. Anything from middle school teachers, or is it all communicated through the students?

Our elementary AAP center does not have these.

I will be very surprised if we hear from the MS Teachers on a weekly basis. The MS Teachers have a lot more students that they are working with and their classes are different each period. In ES Teachers have the same group of kids all day so sending an email on what is happening is far easier.

I have an 8th grader at a center. No teachers really email parents other than an occasional announcement - like for a field trip, concert, etc. There is gradebook in SIS and there is schoology, but we do not get info beyond that and talking to our student.

It wouldn’t be reasonable to expect weekly newsletters nor would I really want a newsletter every week from every teacher. It is not ES and tour child will have a different teacher for every subject, whole every teacher will have far more students than 1 classroom’s worth.
