I’m bringing my pulled pork sliders (including coleslaw and pickles) to a “snack-y” type evening get together this upcoming weekend.
Keeping with the “snack-y” theme the host is going for, and not knowing what others might bring, what would you bring/pair with the sliders? |
| Fried macaroni and cheese nuggets. These are good room temperature too. |
| tater tots |
|
Why do you need more than sliders?
|
| Cold slaw. Bbq chips. |
|
Chips
Corn on the cob, cut into 2" lengths Watermelon wedges |
This plus coleslaw and vinegar hot sauce (I like Crystal brand) |
| Are you providing the whole meal? |
|
Pulled pork, slaw and either chips or watermelon if you want salty or sweet.
But that’s a meal right there. |
| Nothing. You will look like you're taking over the event if you bring too much. This is enough for one person to provide. |
This would not be appropriate to bring to someone else's event at which other people are also providing snacks. |
| If its mayo based, please don't put the cole slaw on the slider. Make cute cups of it for a side. |
| Potatoe salad |
Bbq Fritos |
| If you're not the only one bringing food, then don't bring anything else besides the sliders, pickles, and Cole slaw. Anything else is overdoing it for a pot-luck style meal. Let other people's food be your side dishes. |
