| Hoping to get some advice for my niece. She wants to go abroad for her college experience and is looking at Canada and Europe. She is a high stats applicant (maybe T-20 caliber) and applying in the fall. Any suggestions? So far she has looked at UofT, McGill, Oxford/Cambridge, and St. Andrew's. |

Why not Asia?
NUS is really strong |
| Not sure, she hasn't mentioned any Asian universities to me. I will suggest it to her. I think she would be open to it! |
| George Mason Korea |

| Stick with UK schools. Would depend on major but would go for the top tier schools such as Oxford/Cambridge, St Andrews, Edinburgh, LSE and Imperial if interested in STEM. |
| What does she want to study? |
| Edinburgh. My dc graduated a few years ago. It was a great experience all around. |
| Trinity, Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, then any of the Russel Group. |
| If interested in UK schools, be sure to hit the APs. You'll need five 5s for oxford or Cambridge. |
Those are great universities in Japan. I don't think they convey much value outside of Japan, though. |
| My sister got her PhD at Glasgow University in Scotland. It was a while ago and much different than undergrad but she loved it. |
| Is she fluent (or close) in any language(s) other than English? |
Oxford only needs 3. |
