Estrogen patch and swimming/hot tubs

I’m new to wearing an estrogen patch. I was told that heat makes the patch release unevenly, and I should avoid hot showers directly on my patch, and getting overly hot/sweaty.
I’m wondering if I should do anything different on my beach vacation- where I normally go in a hot tub a lot, swim in the ocean, and generally hang in the sun.
