do you need to take math SOL in 6th to be able to take Algebra 1 in seventh?

| I didn't want my son to take the math SOL because he tends to stress out about it and would love not to take it. But he's in pre-algebra now and obviously he should be in algebra next year. This is APS. |

How has his grades been in pre-algebra? |

| He will need to take it in algebra for verified credit, you might be able to opt of this year depending on current performance but it could be good practice. |
