Lifetime Reston Men's Locker Room Theft

Lifetime Reston Men's Locker Room had theft of 3 wallets / phones today May 17, 2024.

Looks like this is a regular issue there. Simple search shows that there are previous occurrences at the same location in the past.

I am surprised at the number of unlocked lockers at my gym. Wallets, keys, phones just sitting there.

This. Of course things get stolen. Also, don’t be surprised when your car gets stolen if you leave the keys in it.

If this is similar to prior thefts, these items are being stolen out of locked lockers.

OP: The lockers were locked when the thefts occurred.

Fairfax Police Weekly reports confirm the thefts at Lifetime Reston. Looks like there are 4 reports - 1 on 5/16 and 3 on 5/17. Its interesting to note that the police reports don't use the Google maps address of Lifetime Fitness of 1757 BUSINESS CENTER DRIVE.

They have a numbered lock system. No personal locks.

Police department must be pressured to open an investigation, considering the frequency. They can demand video footage of the doorways, can’t they?

8/2/2024 Items were stolen from locked lockers. Police reports were filed. Wallets car keys were taken.
