Its a real shame that an option school would have a waitlist given kids don't have an option to walk home in most cases.

Make sure you submit the deposit which is a second step after you register

Not if the bus stop is a mile away from their house, which it is for many of the option schools. But that’s no different from the neighborhood walker kids. I still think it’s really far for little kids to walk without parents.

Yes, though our bus stop is really far from our house, so I'd never let a k-2 kid do the walk alone. For many option schools that's the case. Because there was push to hub stops to reduce transportation costs.
