clear plus — useless or not?

Looking to avoid long US customs lines coming back from Europe. Will Clear Plus expedite things? I would apply for global entry but there’s a 4-6 mo wait. It seems to me some regulations have changed that affect Clear’s services. Is it useful for international travel anymore?

Just get mobile passport

Clear has nothing to do with US passport control/customs. It will get you to the front of the TSA entry line at most airports. But even then it's not so special anymore at places like Dulles, where so many people have it, that the process to scan your eyes, etc ends up taking just as long.

As PP said, for expedited passport control, use the Mobile Passport Control app. It's free.
