Wasn't sure which category to put this in so calm down category police lol.
If you take a bath every day what is your monthly water bill like? |
| I live in FFX county and we get a quarterly bill. Ours is typcially $120/3 months. |
| The estimate is a bath can use 50 gal. WSSC water & sewer highest tier is $25/1000 gal. So, 75 cents per bath (less any savings on a missed shower). |
| I had a very large bathtub and replaced it with a small but deeper tub. My baths now take about 25 gallons of water. Fills up much quicker too. I highly recommend. |
Same! The nominal increase in cost of bathing daily isn't enough to justify walking around with a funky butt |
| I get quarterly bills in FFX and our bill due in March was $184. We have 5 people in our house who take baths daily and we do laundry daily. |
| Maybe $15? Water is not expensive here. |
Thanks this is for daily baths not showers right? How many people? |
5 people who all take baths or do they take showers? |
Thank you this is helpful. |
PP - sorry 2 of them take baths, 3 of them take showers. |
OP here the price of washing everyday isn't in question. I'm trying to figure out how much water costs for baths verses showers since baths use a lot more water usually. No one in my household walking around with a "funky butt" over the cost of water. Just to be clear. |
How many people taking baths a day and how many people showering? |
PP here, sorry I misread your question. No, daily showers for 3 people. And 1bath. My daughter insists on having them all the time. We don’t do laundry everyday but do laundry on Saturdays. My husband does like 6 loads. We run our dishwasher about 4x a week. |
| My water bill used to be $80 a month from DC Water, consistently. I now have two kids who share a bath daily. The water bill is now usually $110-$120. |
