Ocean City for one day with a 6 months old

I would like to go with my family to OC to spend one day, but I have never been there before.... do they have places to rent beach umbrellas, chair and maybe a baby pool? Any suggestions of where to stay? Where to eat?

You could go to the beach in the morning and then hit Seacrets at lunch. Maybe the baby will decide to take a nap and Mommy can sip a virgin daiquiri while you dabble your toes in the bay

I've never seen baby pools fore rent, but there are plenty of stands along the beach with chairs and umbrellas. Have fun!

You mean one day as in your drive to OC in the morning and drive home that night? If so, it isn't worth it.

yeah.. totally second that one..

8 hours in the car for few hours on the beach with a little child. totally not worth it.

and if you meant to stay overnight for one night, that's generally impossible to do during the summer season as most hotels will not accept a reservation for a single night. but possibly an option if you go in September.

agree w/ PP - most hotels during the summer in OC will require a 3 night min. stay and be prepared to pay alot!! It's too much to do for one day driving back/forth with a baby. Go in Sept. when the rates are lower and the crowds are gone.
