Sharing Computer files between laptops...

Anonymous
Does this have to be done manually? Or can someone accidentally try to access your files? I recently had an alert pop up on my personal computer that another person was trying to access my files (I know who this person is), luckily my sharing was turned off, so I denied the access. But now this person is playing dumb, and claiming they don't know how it could have happened. I think it was done intentionally, because I know this person is a computer whiz. Before I confront this person about trying to hack my computer, I want to make sure I'm right about it being intentional. (With what I know about comps, I'm 90% sure that u can't accidentally try to access another comps files.) If I'm wrong someone please tell me. TIA

I suppose this is at work and you have LAN setup for file sharing. You need to ask your network administrator. If you look under computer in microsoft and drill down you can see what folders are shared.
