Has anyone received emailed offers yet for Alexandria (non MLSnext)?
Specifically asking about boys teams. |
| Yes, I got a verbal offer for my 2011B |
| I was wondering if anyone had started receiving the actual emailed offers yet. |
| We got one some time ago, a day or two after the tryout. They lock down the top two teams first before giving offers for the other teams, so if you’re still waiting, I think it’s unlikely you made the top two, depending on how long they want to wait on any top two holdouts. The email states 48 hours to accept but I’m sure they’ll bend the rules for any Messi-league kid. |

This was the generic email that was sent to all participants:
Parents and Caregivers, Thank you for attending our ASA Academy Tryouts. Offers will be sent on a rolling basis over the next several weeks. Offers and responses will continue to be sent to families throughout May and into early June. All players who tried out will receive notification from ASA whether or not they are being offered a spot on an Academy Team. |
Can I ask what age group this was for? Thanks. I’m thinking you’re right and my child didn’t make the top teams. |
| Yes we received an offer for U9 last week. |
| Yes, received 09 offer day after. |
|
Received 2010 B offer today.
|
You can ask, but doesn’t mean I have to answer 😉 Think older elementary school range. If what they told us is true, then their top two teams should definitely be locked down by now. For what it’s worth, I know 2-3 players who got top two offers and turned them down. |
| current ASA ECNL 2010 offered ASA MLS Next. Know of 5 current players offered to ASA MLS Next |
? |
This is a complete troll post. It's actually the opposite...five Alexandria players tried out at Arlington. One was offered. Everyone knows the Alexandria 2010 group is a hot mess that changes coaches quicker than underwear. There is no way five Arlington players would seek the chaos at Alexandria when they have a very competent staff at Arlington. |
This is correct. |
| Those five 2010 are going to SYC. |
