bcc student with gun? + metal detector needed

When will BCC wise up and get metal detectors. Are they waiting for something big to happen to get them? What is the hold up? It works wonders at other schools meaning....kids have a hard time bringing in weapons. Anyone know the reason WHY they don't have them yet? Enough events have happened...are they liable at this point by NOT getting them? I would think so.
