super light period for 10 days straight

i'm on birth control and spotted for a week on it, stopped taking it bc it was making me anxious and now i have a full on period.
will this ever stop?!

I'm scared. I had an ultrasiund last year and a normal ct scan. What is going on?

Don’t be scared. Call your gynecologist. I had a period of heavy bleeding for weeks. My doctor was very reassuring that it happens for many perimenopausal women. It was treated with Aygestin after ruling out anything serious.

I think it’s normal to start a period if you stop the pill (in fact, that’s exactly what happens when you take the sugar pills). The spotting while on the pill can be normal as well. I spotted all the time while on a low dose pill.

I did too. They did not work for me at all once I hit peri. Mirena has been better but other friends had crazy bleeding on that.
