| Because an elementary school carnival is prime campaign fodder, PTAC of ALX invited city council political candidates to sit in an elementary school carnival's dunk tank. On May 18 many of Alexandria's City Council's Democratic candidates will sit in a dunk tank at Charles Barrett's annual carnival. Gross. |

| It will bring in more fundraising and ticket sales. Who wouldn't want to dunk a CB candidate right now after how they treated the SB budget? |

| Did they follow through with this? I didn’t see mention of it in future promotions for the carnival and then the weather sucked (but the event wasn’t cancelled despite the rain). |
