I just asked this week on the CBS thread if George's death would be shown on Young Sheldon, but even so I was not expecting it! I never saw any previews or interviews discussing this.
My impression from TBBT was that George wasn't a great father, but I don't feel that Young Sheldon portrayed him that way. |

It is a great show with great actors, great writers and the only show I watched. I have doubts about the sequel of Georgie and Mandy without the rest of the family. |

Even though I knew it was coming, it was still a shock to see it happen on last night’s episode. Although they definitely hinted towards it by having him on the ladder. And his last scene when no one said goodbye was telling.
There were lots of articles last night about this from Chuck Lorre and the showrunners about last night’s episode and also how the George on YS was purposely different than how he was referred to on BBT. I have not watched YS very much the last couple of seasons but I want to see the end. Last week’s episode with the “recruiting” was great. |

I never watched it in the beginning, but when I started watching Ghosts I would catch part of it. I thought it was good and started watching the whole thing. Last night they showed a few clips of the first show, and the kids are so little! It is a great show, and I'll give the spin off a try. Maybe with some of the same team running it, it will be worth watching. |

| Agree that Young Sheldon is a surprisingly good show, particularly the first few seasons. I think it’s one of the best shows in at least a decade and is a million times better than TBBT. |
