| Has anyone heard back anything after the initial tryout on Monday evening? How many spots are they actually looking to fill? TIA! |
| We are 2013G. Honestly, not that many. How good is your kid? |
| Those of us returning will hear May 22. |
Wow, that's pretty late considering all other local tryouts will be complete. We see you Alrington. |
| Has anyone had invites to practice with any teams? Or do they just wait until the second tryout next Monday together assess players? Not sure how it all works. |
Ikr!? I guess they have enough demand that they are not worried about losing players (current and otherwise) to other clubs. Except maybe their top teams, but even then they haven’t offered all of those slots yet. |
| Bump |
Let’s just be clear, kids were practicing with teams before tryouts. |
Yeah, they aren’t worried about the kids at all. It’s the bottom line. Some kids Will inevitably be left without a team and they don’t GAF. |
| I got an offer after the first day of tryouts. |
| There were some girls practicing with the teams this week. |
How frequently does this happen? Do they fill most of the spots after the first tryout? |
| How good do coaches and parents of Arlington’s top 2013G team think they are relative to the top teams at McLean, Loudoun, SYC, and Bethesda? If your DD wants to play ECNL the following season and ultimately play in college, should she take an offer from one of those other teams over one from Arlington? |
From which clubs? |
Isn’t the top 2013G team at McLean ranked high nationally? I recall them being very good. I imagine they may be the only McLean team that will not lose players to Arlington this year. Totally different story on the boys side. We had like every McLean boy at Arlington tryouts for the boy teams. |
