Warren Buffet
Bill Gates Elon Musk Jeff Bezzos Mark Zuckerberg |

Zuck, Gates were just in the right place and right time. Credit I guess for being big enough bastards to take advantage of the opportunity. Not very impressed what they actually accomplished in the long run.
Buffet and Bezos are probably the most impressive business leaders of the bunch. Musk is a bit of a clown. Credit for putting together distinct businesses that pushed some interesting / useful areas forward. I imagine he was mostly very good at putting very passionate teams of people together who succeeded in spite of but not because of him. |
| Which one actually wants to do something good and which one only donates when tax advisors or PR folks push him to do so? |
White men. |
|
Why no mention of Larry Ellison?
He has a chaotic record of philanthropy but currently is funding cancer research institutes in LA and Oxford. |
White heterosexual men from educated and affluent backgrounds. |
Not ad much in public eye as other 5. |
| Four of them are divorced, lets hope Z can defy the odds. |
| All selfish a$$holes |
|
Similarities:
All 5 attended an Ivy for undergrad or grad school (Harvard, Penn, Columbia, Princeton) Differences: Some stayed for a degree (Musk, Buffett, Bezos) and some dropped out (Zuck, Gates) |
Aw. Sorry about your personal finances. Buffett is a good guy and so are his kids. |
Why? I don’t care if they get divocrced? |

I've never heard anything negative about Warren Buffett. He seems intent on keeping a low profile. The most interesting thing that I've ever read about him is that he drinks a coke a day.
He seems to be different than the other men mentioned. |
He’s the only one who made his own money the others made money off other people’s ideas/work. |
Oh no. He has that weirdo lady relationship with his not-wife. It is actually appalling but everyone gives him a pass, I guess because they think he is a nice, old grandpa-like figure. |
