Mayonnaise and Banana?

Am I the only one in the world who eats mayonnaise and banana sandwiches?

No, my co-worker does. I always thought it was gross! Is that a southern thing? He's originally from Georgia, I think.

My good friend who grew up in Texas eats these sandwiches.

I grew up eating banana and mayo sandwiches. I lived in Ohio, but my Dad grew up in North Carolina. He got me hooked on them. I haven't had one in years, though.

All three together? Seriously?

I am the one you quoted! YES, all three!! My mom would and still does layer it. The mayo is first, then the PB followed by the banana. The mayo adds a tanginess to it. Like I said, I do not eat it anymore.

In South Carolina we ate these too.
