SSMA only has 216 kids enrolled, as opposed to 262 last year. That seems like a very bad sign

Social Justice School has 30 less kids enrolled this year than last. The Charter Board opened too many middle schools at one time

Which DCPSes are way up or down?

Two Rivers also has 30 less kids but the school is five times bigger, so probably not as big of a deal.

Burroughs has 50 less kids this year than it had last. That number is surprising to me.

Eliot Hine has 60 more kids than last year.
Jefferson has 20ish.
SH has slightly less.
Anonymous
Banneker has almost 100 more students than last year.

I ran a quick Excel comparison and here are some notes:

Anacostia and Ballou both down, 15% and 11%. Bard down 13%.
Banneker up 16%, +92 kids, due to the new building I assume.
I see Burroughs up from 258 to 297. BurrVILLE is down.
CHML up 15%, +64.
Eliot-Hine up 19%, +61 kids, well done!
Kelly Miller down 18%.,
Langdon up 10%, Langley up 3%.
Ludlow-Taylor up 13%, +55 kids, nice.
Luke C Moore up 25%!
MacFarland down 5%,
McKinley Middle up 18%, +41.
Noyes up 20%, well done also.
Payne up 10%, +59 kids.
Powell up 12%.
SWW@FS up 10%.
Stuart-Hobson up 16%, +66 kids, nice.
Takoma up 16%, +66 kids.
Truesdell down 14%, -60, ??
Tyler up 11%, Watkins up 6&, Van Ness up 5%.
Wheatley up 12%.
Whittier up 9%.

DC Prep Anacostia Middle up 33%, other campuses slightly down, did they change grade level configurations or something?
Friendship schools slightly down for the most part, except Collegiate Academy up 8%.
KIPP schools also slightly down for the most part, except for Legacy College Prep up 30%. It's an interesting thing that DC Prep, Friendship, and KIPP are all mostly down.
Hope Tolson up 12%.
Howard Middle down 11%.
LAMB flat.
Bethune up 15%.
Paul up 14%.
Stokes Brookland slightly up.
Achievement Prep up 42%.
SSMA down 18%, -47 kids, ouch.
CMI down 1%, 6 kids.
Mundo Calle Ocho up 6%, P St. down 1%.
Harmony up 12%.
Rocketship mixed.
Digital Pioneers up 43%.
Girls Global up 29%.
Social Justice down 18%, -28 leaving only 124 kids, can it survive? Capital Village down 5% leaving only 103 kids, ditto.

Oops I had Stuart-Hobson on the wrong line. It's down 2% (11 kids). Not a big deal IMO.

Two Rivers middle is down 8% or 22 kids.

Truesdell is undergoing a renovation this year and next, correct? That could be part of the reason for the big drop.

When did they have their last 8th grade class, before the switchover to Wells?
