how to remove vacuum breaker from outdoor spigot?

| water is leaking everywhere from the vacuum breaker. what's the best way to get this off? i saw a video about drilling out the fixed screw but kinda hesitant. Is there a foolproof way so I dont damage the threads on the spigot? Thanks. |
