I hear retro gaming systems like Atari and Nintendo are making a comeback and that there are people looking for CRT TVs to play these games on. I have a perfect condition tube TV taking up space in a closet that I would love to get rid of. I know most thrift stores only accept flat-screen TVs now, but I don't want this thing going into landfill. Any thoughts on how I might get it into the hands of someone who would actually use it?? |
I would offer it for free on a neighborhood facebook group if it were me. Also you could do facebook marketplace. |
Hold on to it. Make an appearance on Antiques show one day to claim your millions for that type of machine! |
The usual places will not take a tube TV any longer. Maybe take it to the dump ? |
Many communities have electronic recycling days. We got rid of outs that way.
