I donated my 30th pint of blood today

It feels less braggy to share it anonymously here than on social media, but it makes me feel good. I know there are people that have donated far more, but still... 30 pints is a lot of blood!

I was at the tail end of the blood drive, so there were only cheez-its and granola bars left. You gotta donate earlier in the day to get the better cookies (Red Cross)

But Inova blood drives always have better snacks - there have always been like 10+ good options!

I usually take the snacks to go though, but eat a good meal within a few hours. Chug the water though.

My 17yo attempted to donate today and she passed out and then threw up! At least she tried.
