Your child is in 6th grade. Ask him or her. Have them see what their friends are doing.
Also, check out the feeder schools and high-schools (our AAP middle school largely feeds to a highschool that is NOT our base; meaning only the 10-12 children from our cohort's base elementary AAP program will transition together for High School, so we opted for the LLIV program at our base middle to have a larger base)
