MYS U9-12 Coaching lineup out

Anonymous
Their top team younger age groups look great, I've noticed they are adopting the same style as bigger clubs of playing up recently. Their 2014's are in EDP vs 2013s, their 2013 and 2015 just played up in their last tournament and won their brackets.

Anyone have experience on the teams about coaching style and how they work? Seems new for them and look to be more focused now on the boys side with the new hires building from the bottom up. My DS is a 2016 and looking for what suits him best now that tryouts are here.

Great! Why can't they just post a table of tryout times/dates for the different Ulevels like they did before? Now it seems you have to click register log into playmetrix ... but system has been down. Aware they start this week.

Smart for CW to nab the 2013 GG. That's a special group

Here we go again. Another “special” u11 team that is “failed” by a coach or club within a few years.

Is there a separate listing for the ECNL R team or is that FVU? I’m not familiar with McLean’s levels.

1. They posted a spreadsheet over two weeks ago.
2. Play Metrics is not down. I've been on it since 6am this morning.

What do we infer from all the blank coach assignments?

I also had an issue. When you clicked on the age group the schedule did not appear. But it’s up now.

That they still have a few coaching spots to hire for, given that they lost a handle full to/as a result of the FVU debacle, including high-profile coaches of older teams on both the boys and girls side.

Green is ECNL RL (u13(?) and up).

In order, it goes Green, White, Gold, Silver

This is a play to keep them in the FVU pipeline. There are plenty of people who will tell you that CW has not done well with the 2011s or 2006s (or was it 2005s?) before that so this is not necessarily a "smart" move. Many will explore Loudoun with their old coach.

Or maybe they weren’t that special to begin with?
