Ivy Getty Files for Divorce, NYT Low Key Shades

This was a random click after my Wordle game but the low key shade throughout the article is absolutely delicious. There's no tea but I think folks will enjoy:

Yikes.
That wedding was ridiculously absurd.
I’m sure their next weddings will be far more understated affairs…
Kidding.

Phew. That was a lot of shade.

Here's a link to the Vogue coverage of the wedding:

I thought the mirror dress was tragic.

I can’t read the NYT piece, but the pic at the top of the vogue article is very-vogue.

They look like brother and sister.

Does anyone have a guest link to the NYT article?

Vogue photograph is gorgeous. Shame they're getting divorced, but they look very young.

She’s 29. I looked briefly at her instagram and her closet appears to be in her bedroom? I would assume she could live not like a typical 20s something artist.

Um, what shade?

The piece is merely dumbed down thanks to the Q&A structure…I suppose the writer knows her audience?

Two rich kids had a whirlwind romance and subsequently discovered being boring grownups isn’t totz kewl.

One probably wants to have a baby while the other is reluctant?

Or perhaps she found a better prospect?

10 bucks says he cheated. And she has an iron clad prenup.

I’m LOL’ing at fashion designers blowing smoke up her butt; Galliano stating that he was “bewitched” by her. She has a face for radio, yikes. Everyone is just around for the Getty money.

The article itself isn’t that shady but the section headers are and were pretty funny.

I always enjoy Vogue’s coverage of lavish weddings. I know I should be nauseated by the excess, but I enjoy seeing the results of hyper-wealthy people embracing glamour.

Also, if I were more technologically adept, I’d revive the “I’d Hit That Thursday” thread with the Vogue picture of Prince Constantine of Greece and Denmark.
