Looking for a personal trainer to work on core strength, building endurance, and general exercise health for a young AuDHD teen with coordination challenges. Any suggestions for this? We're in NOVA but open to suggestions in NW DC or Moco too. Thanks!
They have a place in North Bethesda called Fitness for Health - check out the website. Your insurance may even cover part of it depending on who you work with there.
Spirit Club in Kensington, MD is amazing for this.

I’ve never used them, but I have heard good things about Adaptive Movement.

That’s what the PT did for my son and insurance paid for most of it.

We had excellent experiences with the personal trainers at FFX Rec Centers. My kids first started with the Weight Training for Teens class. My kids didn't need an adapted program but I did let the instructor know that they had ADHD, coordination issues, low endurance, low muscle tone. It, absolutely, was not a problem. My kids really liked the instructor and we bought personal training sessions with her and, later, a different personal trainer (they have both since moved out of the area. It was fabulous. It not only helped my kids physically but also gave them the confidence to work out by themselves.
