I’m having a picnic with friends and
I’m baking dessert. For some reason I’m drawing a blank on what to make. Preferably something easy to transport and eat without utensils or plates. I don’t know why I’m drawing such a blank! Don’t really want to just make chocolate chip cookies although that’s what I will fall back on if I can think of anything else. No dietary restrictions. |

Lemon cupcakes
fruit with cream cheese dip |
| Brownies! |
+1 Or blondies. |
| Something with pound cake and strawberries would be nice and spring-y! You could make individual trifles in mason jars, or put strawberries and pound cake squares on skewers, with some kind of sauce for dipping. |
| Homemade Rice Crispy treats |
| Raspberry bar cookies or lemon bars. i saw the earlier suggestions for depending on the heat, if you do cupcakes, the icing might not travel well. |
| Cookies or bar cookies is the obvious choice. I recommend lemon or rhubarb bars. |

Brownies
No-Bake Cookies |
| If you don’t want something that requires utensils stick with bars, cookies or cupcakes. |
| Agree with brownies or lemon bars or both. |
| Chocolate covered strawberries work well when not 100 degrees out |
where is it 100 degrees out |

Cupcakes are hard to transport and messy on your fingers.
B/c of the ton of eggs in lemon bars, don't they need to be kept cold? They too cam be a gooey mess Just stick brownies Op. Always hit. Jazz it up by adding m&Ms are walnuts or white choc chips to the batter. |
| I just saw a salted margarita bar recipe in NYT cooking that seems perfect for a picnic. |
