She’s not sick. There is no bag. King may not even have cancer - they are trying to deflect on the scrutiny that is inevitable as the dissolution negotiations go on and she’s phased out of royal life.

I think she likely is sick. Or was, and did in fact have a procedure done that required a hospital stay. I think it would be too hard to fake that, and also it would be way too risky for the RF to claim she was having surgery done if she wasn't.

But I also think something else is badly amiss and they were using the surgery and recovery to conceal it, but it went wrong. Either because Catherine is not participating in the ruse, or because the other issues are so embarrassing/upsetting that the palace has made a bunch of unforced errors in an effort to keep them under wraps.

This. She likely did have a minor surgery completed (maybe a removal of something?) from which she recovered quickly. The larger issue is the failure of W&C's marriage. Likely a huge deal because King Charles' prognosis is worse than they are letting on and the idea of William taking the throne as a divorcee with no queen consort could be disastrous. RF has been banking on the W&C love into the next generation. This is about to collapse. Kate is likely seeking terms for her cooperation the next few years. God knows if she can ever really step aside entirely. What would a William coronation look like without a (beloved) wife?

It's incredibly concerning. That picture just adds legitimacy that something is wrong and she's not willingly to pretend for the cameras anymore

She is recovering from surgery and probably doesn’t look her best- and is likely angry about being forced (or at least pressured by palace PR) into this ridiculous media situation. Not to mention, stressed about the photoshop incident.

I think Kate is embarrassed about her appearance in some way (thus the hiding of her face), and surely neither of them would be in a very good mood at the moment due to the media circus around the photoshopped picture.

I believe the biggest clue that it’s recent, is the lack of her ring. It’s probably still locked up since before her planned surgery. She always wore it in past photos. She owes the public nothing.

KP didn’t disclose the details about Queen Elizabrth’s diagnosis that led to her death. She knew she was dying. She didn’t die in her sleep. Good for her.

"Sky News said an examination of the photo's metadata revealed it was saved in Adobe Photoshop twice on an Apple Mac on Friday and Saturday and the picture was taken on a Canon 5D mark IV, which retails at £2,929.99 and used a Canon 50mm lens, priced at £1,629.99.

The first save was made at 9.54pm on Friday night and the second was at 9.39am on Saturday morning. it's not clear if the two saves were on the same device. The Palace has not offered any further clarification about the edits."

No, I think you sound pretty ridiculous. The BRF is not images, it's people. People that go out and interact with others, are known to the people of the UK and the Commonwealth.

The kids are in school, Charles is going through cancer treatment, William is taking care of Kate, and she is experiencing significant medical issues. They are people, not images.
