If she didn’t have such a problematic personality, I think people would be more inclined to say she’s beautiful.
She’s attention whorish, has a history of nasty behavior, and seems extremely vain/possibly quite dumb. You can get away with that when you’re 25 and have a great body (which she did) and a cute little baby face. She’s gotten older, it shows, AND she’s proven herself to be a giant PITA. It happens to many a mean, hot girl. She’ll keep declining. Whatever, she married well and got her kids, she’ll be fine. Even has a supportive mom. Still luckier than most. But hot/gorgeous? No, not anymore and never again. |
| It doesn't matter. She is living her best life, one that most of us can only dream of and her kids and husband adore her. I don't get the continual posting of these nasty threads about her. |
I don't know, these people live their lives VERY publicly, very on-line, in fact it's how she's even attained fame, so she invites it. Plus she encouraged a minor to kill herself, and bullied others as she was taking an anti-bullying stance. |
Her husband is gay |
Her Harvard graduate-wealthy-cute-famous-music legend husband finds her attractive enough to marry and have a family with. Consumers find her attractive enough to support her media presence and business create money. Sports Illustrated photographers found her attractive enough for their cover so she IS clearly attractive enough for majority who can see beyond Caucasian beauty standards. That being said, more than beautiful, she is incredibly lucky. |
I think John Legend went to Penn for undergrad. Maybe he went to HBS after? |
The only aspect of Teigan's life I would trade for is the bank account. In terms of appearance, husband, kids, personality, career, everything else... I'll stick with mine, thanks. Even my house and vacations -- I just really like my life, I think I have great taste, I'm super happy. I saw some post of Teigan's on instagram recently where she and her family stayed in that Barbie Dream House they created to promote the movie, and I remember thinking how awkward and lame the whole thing looked with her posing for all these photos around the house that her assistant no doubt took, and her family always looks like they are just props/decorations for this stuff. That doesn't look fun to me at all! But she does have a level of "eff you" money that I don't, and I'd like to have that. If only to know my kids' college/grad school/future down payments where taken care of. But I'd spend it way differently than she does. And no way would I waste my time promoting myself on IG and exposing my kids in that way if I were that rich. Just invest wisely and live privately! She seems dumb and insecure. |
Well said. |
| Well, dumb and insecure doesn't stop people from getting fame and money. You just have to have good handlers. |
You are right. I was wrong. Legend did get admission offers with full aid ride from Harvard University and scholarships to Georgetown University and Morehouse College but he attended the University of Pennsylvania. He was a music prodigy, salutatorian of his high school, URM, first generation, he could've gone to any college he cared for. |
| Once you are famous for being famous and not for any talents, it doesn't matter how you look. It's like a member of the family. They are just.. part of the environment now. |
good lord can we quit with the quantifiers. Either she looks amazing or not, leave the age out of it. |
This is one of the most unintentionally amusing posts I’ve read on DCUM. |
I was going to ask about that too. Definitely, went to Penn. |
