Geddy Lee has been married to the same woman since 1976.
Their son is a PhD.

I always like hearing about musicians who stay married. Charlie Watts (Rolling Stones) has been married to the same woman for over 50 years. I think that's incredible.

PP and I am borderline obsessed with LT rocker marriages.

John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin married in 1967

Jack Blades of Night Ranger and Damn Yankees: married in 1977

Maybe my fave couple: Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo: 1982

That is incredible considering their lifestyles. My fave is U2’s Bono and his wife Ali. They were high school sweethearts in Dublin (1982).

And Jon Bon Jovi! High school sweethearts.

Most, if not all of these, have kept their family life private. Coincidence?

And Sting and Trudie Styler — married since 1992.

I once saw Dwayne Johnson at LAX and he smiled at me and said Hi. I visited an art exhibit in LA and chatted with Michael Hall in a gallery. I sit next to Terrell Owens in church.

Yeah she is a very private person. Alexis is her stage name (her middle name), not her first name she uses in real life (Kim). That probably helps with privacy too. Keeping her son out of the public eye for 5 years is a feat. Her and her husband could give lessons on how to be famous and maintain a private life.

Do they not leave the house? Maybe the kid is homeschooled?

Is she that famous anymore that paps/photographers really going out of their way to get pictures?

Depends on what you consider famous. She’s in a popular show, A Handmaid’s Tale.

Her husband is also a well-known actor—Vincent Kartheiser, aka Pete from Mad Men.

Anonymous wrote:Brit-pop band Blur wrote “Song 2.” Song 2 lasts for exactly 2 minutes and 2 seconds. It was their second track. It’s reached #2 in UK charts.

It’s also their joke grunge song.

It’s a great song but do they any other popular songs?

They were huge in the UK!

PP quoted. Great point. Something to be said about keeping your professional life just that.

Alright...since I’m here I’ll share another fact.

Margaret Hamilton, known forever as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz was a former schoolteacher. She got into acting when she was (unusual for the time) a newly divorced mother with a very young son. She was perhaps self-conscious of her “scary” image and appeared on Mr. Rogers to explain how she was NOT wicked and was playing “ make believe.” As an older woman, she was cast in a long running Maxwell House commercials.

This is really interesting.

I remember when Ben Stein taught at MC but had no idea he was a lawyer.

Ben Stein really is a brilliant man. My father is a big fan of his because of his economic expertise. Stein has a podcast relevant to today’s economic challenges on getting a side hustle:

Oops. Sorry that was a different Ben Stein (younger and hotter!) who does podcast, but still might be of interest!
