It depends on the culture. In Caucasian culture yes. In some countries in Latin America and some countries in Africa no. |
That depends on height. Size 6 is not skinny for a 5'6" woman. The problem is that reference points keep changing. Now that 70% of women are overweight or obese (80% of hispanic or black women), simply not being overweight is defined as skinny. A bmi of 24 is not "skinny" by any means. It simply is not overweight. A 5'6" woman in a size 6 is right on the border of being medically overweight (Bmi > 25) |

I would disagree with this, and I think you can look overweight even if your BMI is in the normal range. It's true that height and weight plays a role, but so does body composition and body frame. I have a petite frame at 5'-2", and my BMI is currently 20.5 at 112 lbs. I would say that right now I look neither fat nor skinny. if I reached a 24 BMI (about a 20 lb weight gain) I would definitely look overweight to myself and probably to many others, even though it is not considered "medically" overweight. |
Coming from a millionaire, heck no. I like ‘em with an ass as thick as an army mule's. |
+1. I’m sick of everyone on this forum crucifying thin women as vain and anorexic. Heart disease is a real thing, depression is a real thing. Eating well and being active prevents both. I’ve been fat. I’ve been extremely fit and thin. Guess which felt better, emotionally, physically, and spiritually? I don’t take care of myself to bag a rich man or keep the one I’ve got from straying. I make good money on my own as a result of having interests and aspirations. OP, if you want a rich man, consider that any of them that are worth their salt won’t be marrying you based on your dress size, but the entire package of your character, humor, brains, kindness, and beauty. |
Yes. When I worked in Venezuela and Colombia South America years ago men preferred junk in the trunk. |
Let me guess. You are black or Latin or mixed ? |
LOL |
Only white men who are trying to impress other white men are fetishizing women shaped like a 2X4. |
I think it depends what culture/ethnicity the rich man is from.
In the Caucasian culture, yes, thin is preferred. In many other cultures a bit of "heft" is preferred in women. Consider that in your dating choices if you are on the heavier side as a woman. |
It is comical that woman think if a woman is "skinny" it means she is flat and all bones. No, there are many women who are "skinny" but have great bodies. There is a difference between bone thin, healthy thin, and overweight. I know MANY woman who look fantastic (even after kids) and they are not too skinny or fat. |
Guy here. We’re all different but I think that most men are attracted to fit/curvy women - not skinny. |
I am 5’6”, size 8 or or 10, and my BMI is 22. |
Very rich competitive white men marry skinny women as status symbols. It doesnt rule out he’d rather be banging a size 16 on the side, and probably is. But he needs a size 2 on his arm at functions, ideally one that the other women are jealous of. That’s the game. |
