They ostracized all the minorities in the house. All but 1 were voted out in the first 5 evictions (david, ovi, kemi, cliff, bella). Only Jess got to stick around. They acted like monkeys to mock david and speculated that he had definitely been to jail despite barely knowing him. They called ovi names.

I’m really playing devils advocate here but wasn’t that because they weren’t part of the cool club rather than because of their race? I mean Tommy and Christie are gay and Jess is Hispanic (and fat, which let’s be honest would matter to this bunch of assholes). The monkey and jail stuff is hideous. Is that online somewhere? In the finale David seemed to say that he did not think Jackson’s actions were racially motivated...

Yeah I guess it's just coincidence that all the uncool kids were minorities. Jess and Cliff (old guy and Hispanic plus size) were both on the block throughout those first few evictions. They just happened to be the ones left when all the cool kids finally turned on each other.

Eh. I mean Analyse is also not white (her family is Spanish; her brother's name is Giancarlo) ... so we have the two gay contestants, the old guy who came back and almost won (old people are ALWAYS the first out on reality shows), and Analyse - that's as many minorities as the other group voted out early (Ovi, David, Bella). Again, I'm not saying they aren't assholes, but I think the racism thing is overblown.

Someone can be racist but not homophobic or ageist. Do you know what racism means? You seem to be confusing it. Jack has fully owned that he was totally effed up in the house, specifically to Kemi. Look at his backyard interview.

And Analyse looks white so it doesn't really matter that her brother's name is Giancarlo when it comes to first impressions and how she was immediately perceived and judged by the houseguests when the beginning is all about visual first impressions.

If you don't watch that and see mob mentality racist tendencies than you just will never see it anywhere. Almost all live feeders agree that this level of hate was completely unwarranted. You forget that live feeders also got to see everything Kemi was doing at the same time and whether or not this kind of vitriol was worth it. And basically all agree it was not warranted and that she did not act in a way to deserve this.

It was mob mentality high school clique-ishness at its worst and that is blatantly evident. At one point BB started cutting to fish on the feeds every time Kemi's name was brought up. And this is POST eviction so she was doing nothing at that point to fuel any hate.

Then there was a clip of Kat, who people seem to think is a little nutty but pretty nice, saying Kemi is a nightmare and will come off worse than anyone else in 'the real world.'

I think it's possible for someone to be nasty and it have nothing to do with their race.

I also disagree that Analyse (who they called Sis because HER NAME IS TOO COMPLEX) appears any whiter at first glance than Ovi.

Analyse is not a complex name. One of the recent white blonde women on bachelor in paradise was named analyse.

You seem to want to claim that all the people who watched 24/7 footage of these people who say Kemi was not nasty and that everyone was racist towards her are wrong. Ovi and Kemi and David and clearly Julie Chen, in addition to the live feeders who saw everything, believe there was racism, and that it was particularly virulent towards Kemi.

Exactly! If you don’t watch the live feeds then you have absolutely no idea how those ppl treated others. Oh, and they talked about the Hispanic girl. They made jokes about her size constantly. Also, even the producers told Jackson to watch what he was saying.

Analyse is attractive and exotic looking. Most men will find her attractive. Analyse wasn’t embracing anything Hispanic while Jessica played up her heritage. Analyse was basically a sorority girl they could relate too. Those gay contestants amongst other white ppl aren’t going to be seen as minorities. They fit right in. The old guy bashed David (black contestant) just to fit in. You clearly didn’t watch the show bc if you did you would have a better understanding.
