As for meeting with college counselor that is something I am not sure on anger. My kid is not bearnet college age but I for sure would want to meet with the counselor to understand if the colleges our child picked were in target and what do those colleges look for. I can go years back and remember my mom reading the recommendation from our school counselor (School accidentally put the letter in our packet that went home and not because mom’s was snooping)and losing it because counselor basically omitted 90 percent what I accomplished during my hs years. Was it laziness or helping someone else, not sure but in end glad mom caught it.
Sounds like the junior counselor.
