The GOP controlled Senate hasn't gotten this yet, so I doubt they ever will. Expect the wheels.of justice, truth, and the American way to move very slowly.

She says it proves the Special Counsel was unnecessary and she worries about our institutions and the rule of law. What the?!?!

No one knows who funds the Federalist. In other words: no one knows who cuts her checks.

What’s her name? I heard an older woman from the Federalist on the radio spewing such total fabrications, I was shocked a legitimate radio program had her on as a guest. Koch Bros? Mercer’s next more likely. Crazy stuff.

Interesting analysis from Slate. I think Cohen is going to spill a lot more in the coming weeks. Why was Mueller's recommendation lighter than the SDNY? They are playing good cop vs bad cop. Both teams know Cohen has been holding out. So it's either cooperate fully or go to prison.

"Cohen has a lot more he could give. The government knows that. They want to crack him. Moreover, even on the stuff he’s given them so far, he is a less valuable witness so long as he refuses to be fully candid. They are tired of playing his coy little game, and political considerations require speed. So they’ve accelerated sentencing, and set up a classic “good cop – bad cop” squeeze. New York has told the judge to hammer Cohen. By contrast, Mueller looks like a generous friend. Cohen—who like every white collar criminal I’ve ever known is undoubtedly scared silly of going to prison—is facing 4-5 years (and, not improbably, a good deal more if the judge is impatient with his recalcitrance). This crystallizes his choices. Either he quits fiddling around or he goes to the Big House for a long while."

The GOP has already lost control of the house. Most of them won’t lose their party’s future defending Donald J Trump.

The White House should be shaking in its bones now.

Judiciary Dem: Latest court filings show Trump was at center of 'massive fraud'

https://thehill.com/homenews/sunday-talk-shows/420441-top-dem-latest-mueller-filings-show-trump-was-at-center-of-massive

Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) on Sunday said the latest indictments and filings brought by prosecutors against former associates of President Trump show that he was at the center of "massive fraud" against the public.

“I think what these indictments and filings show is that the president was at the center of a massive fraud — several massive frauds — against the American people," Nadler, who is likely to be the next chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said on CNN's "State of the Union."

"And it’s now our job … to get to the bottom to this, to find out exactly what was going on, to find out the extent of the president’s involvement, to find out what did the president know and when did he know it," he added.
