Those two things aren't mutually exclusive. That could've been her way of trying to overcome her body issues. Besides, that was much earlier in their relationship. Maybe she was trying to impress Tom by appearing confident and fun.

I mean, I know she's not a "real" therapist but she should get fired/blackballed/censured if she sleeps with him. Not to say it won't happen - he seems to cause a lot of people to make bad decisions. Still don't get the attraction.

What happened to Jax’s face?? I just saw some clips from season 1 and he was HOT. Now he looks bloated and just overall not as attractive. Stassi looked better too before her Botox and lip plumping. Honestly they all looked better before they got money and ruined their faces.

Rewatching the birthday party. So first Ariana claims she has body and vagina issues and that’s why she doesn’t have sex. But at the party she finally admits that the issue is she doesn’t feel close to Tom and he doesn’t spend enough time with her and that is why they don’t have sex. Sounds like the typical LTR sex cycle...

He got old. He's almost 40 and has been treating his body like crap for most of that.

He’s pushing 40 and still drinks like he’s in his 20s. He doesn’t have the same metabolism. However, they’ve all gained weight, especially Katie and Stasi.
