We now know that JFK was suffering from Addisons and that was not revealed to the public. Ronald Reagan, at least before his second term was probably suffering from early stages of Alzheimers.

The physical and mental health of someone who may become president is way more important than what is revealed in a tax return - although being someone who supports transparency I favor the disclosure of tax returns as well.

Reagan likely had early stages of Alzheimer's. But he was cleared by doctors, specifically with respect to Alzheimer's. Had any doctor diagnosed him with it, he would have stepped down.
