So you're just a regular vegetarian. If you said "I'm a vegetarian and I don't eat any animal products", that term would be vegan. |
Yes, two of us are just regular vegetarians. But one of my kids is allergic to milk so she's just an ovo-vegetarian, if you want to get more specific. |
| I eat fish, eggs, and dairy. I tell people I am a vegetarian because I get the side eye if I say pescatarian. I only bring it up if people ask or it's unavoidable because, oddly people have been proactively judgmental about my eating choices. I think because of PETA or other soapbox vegetarians they think I'm going to throw red paint on them and scream MEAT IS MURDER during dinner... But I could care less what anyone eats... |
That is because they are vegetarians but not vegans. |
Or they think that you will tell them YOU ARE NOT A VEGETARIAN BECAUSE YOU ATE A HAMBURGER LAST YEAR THEREFORE YOU MUST NOT CALL YOURSELF A VEGETARIAN BECAUSE YOU AREN'T ONE! and that would be annoying. |
