Alert to everybody: trophies are plastic trinkets. It sounds like a bunch of serious athletes out there are so peeved that they had to do all this hard work for a trophy and some sniveling little nerd got one anyway. I think the lesson here is that trophies don't matter as much as you think they do, sport.

They are a waste of time, resources, jack up the cost of simple sport leagues, and are honestly really bad for the environment. I am completely against them. Kudos for someone actually saying something many of us are thinking.
