FA Question: Inherited house, now worth $1M, now what?

I don't think OP is an idiot, on the contrary, she raised her family in a good school district on a HHI that is still extremely low by DCUM standards and it sounds like her children are bright and hardworking enough to have a shot at top colleges and universities. Hopefully they will be able to work it out so they can attend.

She inherited a house that NOW is worth 1M. The OP has not said what the value was when she inherited it.
