Not only were your claims entirely untrue, but they actually described historical events that DID occur nearly 80 years ago. But DP don’t you understand the scale is different? Both sides have done horrible things. But the anger you are seeing here and elsewhere is because Israel has killed / imprisoned/ maimed / tortured 100x (more?) Palestinians. My heart breaks for all that are hurt but there is no way for me (an American Jew btw) to unsee all the harm Israel has perpetrated. Who does the designation, because an unbiased individual could use that designation against the USA? We blow unarmed boats out of the Caribbean Ocean and leave survivors to drown. We are starving an entire country called Cuba, and babies in the NICU units are dying because we are blockading oil and food from entering the country. We knowingly attacked an unarmed Iranian carrier that had just participated along with us in some military games in India. We shoot unarmed American protestors in the face and back in our cities. We round up children and place them in warehouse cages around the country, and provide them with subpar food. We provide unlimited funds and weapons to a country that commits open genocide on a group of people because they do not share their religion. We are a country that has openly threatened the force takeover of an ally (Greenland and Canada). We are a country that has provided military, strategic, and logistical support to people who are willing to commit a coup on democratically elected regimes if such regimes are not in line with US dominance. We are a country that placed a 34-count convicted felon in charge of our military and economic institutions. We are a country that knowingly sent non-criminals to a torture facility in a foreign country to frighten other undocumented immigrants. We are ancient Rome. We are the 18th and 19th-century Great Britain Empire. We are Genghis Khan in lethality. And like those empires, if we continue in the way in which we are going, we will end up like them. Literally designated by State and enforced by State, DHS, DOJ, and Treasury, all of which are (like most areas of our government, unfortunately) infested at the highest level levels by radical, extremist Zionists. The minimum threshold for evidence supporting such designations is non-existent. If the next U.S. president installed Rashida Tlaib as Secretary of State via EO on 1/21/2029 (by that point, such a move will seem so much closer to “of course, so what?” territory than you can possibly imagine), she could literally designate the State of Israel as a state sponsor of terrorism that day with the flourish of a pen. The designations mean nothing to me, personally. I know some true believers like to point to other countries or political bodies designating the groups and individuals we designate similarly, but is anyone that clueless that they don’t understand the gravity of U.S. actions and how other countries are typically obliged to follow our lead? |
