William nearly dropped out of college, according to the press at the time. Harry has always said books weren't his thing. I don't think anyone thinks either brother is an academic. |
I didn’t make any of those posts. |
| I can’t wait to read my copy of the Tom Bowers book! |
The book that the head of the US Warrior Games said was peddling pure lies re Invictus? The book with claims about Netflix hating the Sussexes, which Netflix just debunked with the polo drama news that's the topic of this thread? Of course you can't wait to devour more lies about the Sussexes. Totally on brand for you. |
When GB News prints a story about how Bowers lied about the US athletes being perfectly healthy professionals (as if PTSD isn't a valid disability, and in the article, the US Warrior Games guy says they were all amateurs), then you know Bowers' book is trash. https://www.gbnews.com/royal/prince-harry-news-invictus-games-statement-tom-bower |
GB News is right-right-wing. Paschal's rebuttal got play in all the major UK news outlets. |
OK, but you're apparently the pp who thinks the Sussexes' PR team posts on DCUM. Care to explain how that laughably bizarre conspiracy theory came to you? |
I'd have to agree, and I like Harry. He did say he buckled down to pass his helicopter license. But that's not the same thing as reading Bagshot. |
Not interested in crazy right wingers and their lies. Now I want to read the Tim bowers book even more. I believe him. |
Ummm, the left-wing Guardian also posted David Paschal's (he runs the US Warrior Games) rebuttal of Bowers' lies about the US Invictus team. As did the centrist Times and even the Daily Mail. And, obviously, Netflix just posted about the Harry polo drama to rebut Bowers' claims that Netflix hates the Sussexes. And you still want to read a book that reputable media from all ends of the political spectrum are calling a pack of lies? Just because it lies about the Sussexes? That's beyond demented. |
| This thread got off-topic fast. Back to polo? |
For sure, let's get back to polo! Thoughts?
|
They're hot and rich, but the documentary was still boring. |
Well then, good thing they're doing a drama this time, instead of another documentary. The documentary was about people Harry knew, so he had to be careful about what he said. In a drama, there's plenty of opportunity to dig into affairs, sleaziness, and rich people problems. |

I just don't care about polo. Maybe if I were into horses. I've never seen a match. How many people have? I have no reference for it except seeing Prince Charles and others standing around after a match.
There is a polo field in Santa Barbara thst is very close to Montecito. I wondered if thar was one reason they chose to live there instead of L.A. I myself have never seen another polo field. Do people play it in other parts if the U.S.? Seems like a south Ame |
