This year's Grammys

Aren't most of his songs like that ? That's what he is going for

Trevor made the show for me!! He has such a way with words and his duet with Bad Bunny was amazing. I don't think any other host would have brought it..

Lady Gaga’s performance was one of my favorites. I’m glad she won last night.

lol yes lampshades.who is she and what does she want from....society with all her songs but more so her visuals??

I mean, I think she just wants to be an artist who makes people think. Also pro-gay.

Hard to focus on the music when celebrities with several multimillion dollar estates are trying to lecture us about stolen land. I’ll come live in your Malibu mansion. Let me just find my lost invite.

GMAFB.

And shame on the rest of you who fall for their virtue signaling platitudes. Embarrassing.

Dismissing legitimate points of view as virtue signaling platitudes is lazy and wrong headed. Her calls to other billionaires to be more socially responsible is common sense not meaningless platitudes.

BE is not perfect because none of us are, but she is putting her money where her mouth is - and continues to make creative sensitive music. My only complaint was that she should have let her brother say a few words as well ( that may have been his preference though)

Her most recent divestments/ impact investments:
$11.5 Million Donation from her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour ( which we had the joy of experiencing) to environmental and food security nonprofits;

Climate Impact Fund to support climate justice and carbon reduction projects;

Music Decarbonization Project that targets emissions in the music industry;

Her touring team uses 100% recycled or organic materials for merchandise, banning plastic bags, implementing water refill stations, and using plant-based food drives.

Most of us are very concerned about climate change and weather weirding - so am grateful she combines her incredible artistry with attention to minimizing environmental impact.

Hardly recognize her from the 90s
Guess you’re not a fan because Lauryn is unmistakable from her the moment she opens her mouth and when she steps out in public.

Not in THAT dress no she was not recognizable

The PP is inexplicably offended that we didn’t recognize/know who Lauryn Hill was.

Not offended. You’re culturally ignorant. It’s ok!

I can’t sigh any deeper at the misguided cynicism ….

So disappointed Jesse Welles didn't win at least one. Being nominated 4x this year is something, though!
