Harvard social life -- explain the paradox

I can't think of anyone I would like to party with less than an 18 year old who's into networking. Do you talk about their resume while getting drunk and dancing or what?

This is not a paradox.

It's bad enough having to interact with a 60 year old into networking

He is cutting deals and networking left and right, often with much older adults and people from other schools like MIT, Stanford, Princeton. Doesn't sounds like he socializes with kids from H except a few kids who are partners in his startup. They are very focused on getting rich, not focused on partying on campus. He is away a lot in CA and doesn't sound like he goes to classes or is even in MA that much.

That’s not your typical Harvard kid. Slick? 😂 Harvard students are pretty down to earth. It’s something AOs screen for.

Agree. One "son of DF" student story out of 21,000 means nothing. My kid is at the law school and is eating it up. Great social life. You've got both Cambridge and Boston to play in. At the undergraduate level there over 500 student organizations. You can find your people. OP's hypothesis is false.
