As it relates to the fentanyl crisis, most of that is manufactured in china and distributed by the aryan nation. The civil unrest from 2020 came from cops killing black people in cold blood without repercussion. What is the GOP solution for unrest and mass starvation? They are cutting social safety net programs and unleashing a gestapo-like force on to the country. How do either of those address the issues? |
Off with her head! |
Are we fascist yet? |
The numbahs were rigged,
Totally rigged. Isn’t it intressting that the job numbahs were good for Biden and bad for me? Isn't that intressting? |
Succinctly put. |
Yes, the Aryan Nation may distribute some fentanyl, but that is ignores the fact that the vast majority of fentanyl is shipped directly from China to Mexican where the Drug Terrorist Organizations traffic it over the border utilizing illegal immigrants. Where it is sold to our working class who are dying deaths of despair due to widespread unemployment that has not improved since 2008 (except for a brief period between 2016-2019 where Trump’s economic policy brought widespread re-employment). And no, the 2020 riots used the unfortunate overdose of a career criminal as an excuse to riot over their lack of economic stability, and the oppressive lockdowns that were continuing to disassociate our working class. The answers are very clear. First, we need to reinvest in proven technologies and re-shore manufacturing through tariffs. We also need to forcibly remove illegal immigrants and make sure the millions of illegal aliens that mistakenly were considered citizens due to the clearly incorrect interpretations of the 14th amendment are forcefully removed. Then, you need to reform the welfare system to increase labor participation. What we’re meant as short-term aid for those temporarily unemployed have ballooned to permanent programs. Cap all welfare programs to a maximum term of one month at a time, and one year over the course of an individual’s life. Get people working. If you lose your job, get a few weeks of food stamps, Medicaid, etc until you get another job. But do not allow them to just sit on their ass doing nothing. |
The cartels have their own ships, planes, tunnels and even submarines. They don't need illegal immigrants. That's low level stuff. Enough fentanyl to OD every person in the USA would fit in the back of a pickup truck. You have no sense of reality at all about this issue. |
I’m not going to argue with you. I get it, you believe illegal immigrants are innocent saints who you can’t imagine would ever do anything wrong. Personally, I am glad you are one of the few Americans lucky enough to have never had to personally feel the effects of this system that has destroyed the lives of so many working class Americans. It’s wholly separate from the debate here. The response was to an individual who claimed that if the data provided showing a consistent 25% real unemployment rate was accurate we would be seeing widespread starvation and unrest. Regardless of how specifically fentanyl is physically trafficked across the southern border, there is no reasonable argument that the current fentanyl crisis is not a direct result of decades now of widespread unemployment and despair among our working class that liberals (including those on this thread) have continued to ignore and hand wave away because it goes against their personal beliefs and are the result of their short sighted communist and green new deal policies. |
The Bipartisan border bill sponsored by Lankford had language in it about beefing up capabilities to detect and interdict and root out fentanyl. Trump killed that bill and the Republicans lied about it, and still don't have any answers on what to do about fentanyl. |
Yes. But the dumbest version. |
Moodys Chief Economist Mark Zandi: “The (US) economy is on the precipice of recession…Consumer spending has flatlined, construction and manufacturing are contracting, and employment is set to fall. And with inflation on the rise, it is tough for the Fed to come to the rescue.” |
I can feel the recession coming. Here's an example: My husband and I used to eat out about twice a week, but in the past few months, we've tapered off to once every two weeks or less, and we eat in less expensive restaurants. I used to LOVE eating out, but the prices at our favorite restaurants have inched up so high that they don't seem worth it any more. Prices are going up. Trump said he'd "cure" inflation, and he's making it infinitely worse. A vacuum cleaner I paid $550 for in January now costs $700, just a few months later! I've pretty much stopped buying anything except food and other necessities because I see prices inching up. My friends all feel the same, even though we have stable incomes and plenty of savings. I remember feeling like this in 2008, as the Great Recession started. It began slowly, and then accelerated. Right now feels that same way. Ominous. My restaurant example is very small, but multiplied by 350 million Americans.... The recession has started, folks, completely caused by Trump and Project 2025, and we the middle class are going to pay dearly. The destitute will pay with their lives. |

A big step. We have a toddler at the helm whose tamper tantrums on Truth Social destroy our country. The really frightening part is that the GOP is standing by and letting this happen. |
None of his followers believed the numbers anyway. |
