It is not about the patch. College coaches don’t care about patches. Once you are in the field, they know who has it and who does not. A player could be in MLS Next but does not have it and vice versa. Patches are irrelevant unless you want to brag about them in Insta. Same goes for the girls too. |
Signed, ECNL homer dad. |
| Don’t be late today everyone. Give yourself time to deal with traffic and safe travels |
| Armour just blasted Loudoun U15 boys 8-0 in one of the first matches. Going to be a fun weekend. |
MLS Next II for the win |
. Sad, jealous little man-boys you say? MLSN is the new NCSL. You want an MLSN team? Everybody gets an MLSN team- EVERYONE. Quality matters not. It is now a weak league anyone can join. If you are not in the Academy, then you are just an NCSL team funding the academy team. Chase that badge and join the the multitudes. How many MLSN teams in N VA now? 7. (McLean, LS, Alex, Rev, NVA) you think anyone is jealous they are not in that club? Give it two years and everyone will realize they don’t want to be in that club. The smart ones have already figured it out. |
ECNL has been NCSL for a while. Also Alex and NVA are the only MLSNext clubs. Stop conflating the two tiers for your idiotic points. |

Tier 1 teams
Northern Virginia Alliance (NVA) McLean Youth Soccer (MYS) Springfield/South County Youth Club (SYC) The St. James (TSJFC) These are not good teams. That is because you are not tier 1, tier 1 is academy, so stop trying to separate yourself from tier 2. You are closer to tier 2 than academy. 7 teams in N VA. None of them Academy. You are NCSL. Soon everyone will realize the MLSN hoax for what it is, a race to the bottom, except academy. |
Sure, whatever you need to believe to deal with your insecurities. |
| Doesn’t sound like you could say what was wrong, you just didn’t like it. |
You know you’re a pathetic ECNL parent when you talk “patches”. |
| QC Mutiny showing y’all what is UP! |
Ha, not hardly. Boys middling at best. |
| On the boys side, it looks like ECNL is doing better than the MLSN clubs. Certainly for the DMV area teams. |
| My daughters team was added last minute to the Philadelphia International Cup which seems to be run by the same people. Guess it's just a glorified series of friendlies since we're playing our own RL team in the group of 4. Are the girls just a complete afterthought for this? |
