Exactly. And Vance will be worse |
Yes, but most of those people are not POTUS. Being POTUS ages people dramatically. Although this one acts like a regular 1% retiree with how much he golfs. Such a joke. |
Vance has no charisma. Someone called him a dough-faced douche bag on another thread and he so is. He cannot command the cult. |
I loved the sign in Vermont that said:LAP DOGS DON’T SKI. He’s a yappy little lap dog. |
My hope is MAGA will fall apart once Trump is gone. It is a completely surreal phenomenon the way people believe Trump is competent to do anything other that bloviate on TV. I wish I could see what history will say about this insanity--if we survive this a-hat and his evil minions. Every accusation with MAGA/GOP is truly a confession. All the BS about Biden having dementia and other people running the government was really the setup for Dementia Don to come in and pretend to be POTUS, keep the cult in line with his lies, while Musk and others dismantle the government. And the MAGA morons cheer it on. |
Vance doesn't have the cult of personality Trump does. GOP Congress doesn't fear him the way they fear Trump and his lunatics. |
And whatever is happening with his hair. |
+1 A lot of people stopped praying for Trump’s death when Vance got on board. |
Congress and other GOP politicians don’t fear him and constituents don’t like him. Without Trump actively in the picture, Vance could even, eventually, be impeached or resign. He has minimal political experience and even less apparent political appeal. People enthralled by or intimidated by Trump wouldn’t necessarily have similar allegiance to Vance. Unfortunately, power would then slide to the Speaker of the House. The US really needs a process for calling new elections, especially if it’s found that the results of an election were fraudulently obtained. |
Charisma or not, Vance sealed his political fate when agreeing to sign on as Trump's VP. Just like Pence and Harris, he will soon find out how it's impossible for a VP to break the association of working in the administration of an unpopular president. The difference between Vance and our two previous VPs is that he is having his political career ruined at the tender age of 40. Vance will be able to sell some books and he'll surely get paid for speaking engagements and documentaries but his career in national politics will be over in January 2029. |
I disagree. For so many reasons. There is no "worse" than what we have now. The biggest difference is that no one will fear Vance. Congress will do it's job. We will have checks and balances again. Also, will Elon Musk own Vance the way he owns Trump? I doubt it. The biggest proof to me that Trump has some form of dementia is that he has allowed Musk to take over, steal the spotlight, have all the power. Trump looks like an impotent fool who is bored out of his mind. Vance will presumably want to weild power which means he will have to take some from Musk (and yes, I do think that Musk is the most evil and the most dangerous). |
He is doing less with his hair, isn't he? It looks better, I think. Or less bad. |
I would gladly take a Johnson/Thune administration over the current one. |
Re Trump right foot, there are numerous articles and videos about him dragging his leg
