OMG yes, this was so lovely after the first book, so perfect. He said he'd never write a sequel until the scene with the woman saying they'd be leaving the baby on the doorstep came to him and the rest, formed around it. I hope it is made into a film.

I just finished The Full Moon Coffee Shop. It's set in Kyoto. Really transported me there, to the possibilities of magic and hope, and was just an uplifting read.

I just looked up what this is about. According to my library website, it is about a woman who has been married for 59 years and is looking for a new hobby so she joins a British cooking competition show. Each recipe she does reminds her of something in her past.

That sounds like a pretty good premise for a book. My library has a wait list at the moment but I plan to check it out later.

Just finished Matrix. Such a beautiful book. Just started Demon Copperhead (I know, I'm super late to this party) and I can't put it down.

Just finished The Wedding People. It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a book as much as I did this one.

I’ve started First Lie Wins and am having a hard time getting into it.

I just downloaded The Wedding People to read next - I'm glad you liked it!

Just finished The God of the Woods - I really really enjoyed it. Don't know why I had no inkling about. how it was going to wrap up, but I really didn't see it coming. I know others think it wasn't a very satisfying ending but I really liked it.
